Effective leadership and teaching necessitate continuous and relevant communication with stakeholders.

 

With members of the district leadership team, I designed an infographic and newsletter which were awarded first place in School Communication for Marketing, Branding & Images by the New Jersey Schools Public Relations Association.  We also publish bi-monthly newsletters to showcase exciting and interesting curricular events.

Throughout my educational career I have shared highlights from district and school initiatives which cultivated achievement, engagement, and community connectedness. Whether narrating an experience, or creating a highlight reel, I strongly believe in multimedia to help tell the stories of best educational practices.

 

As a teacher, I appeared on several broadcasts of "Your Town, Your Schools," a community outreach and public relations effort of the Middletown Township Public School District. 

 

As a school principal I created parent updates with iMovie, and appeared in a NJ Safe Schools video with community officials. 

 

Telling the stories of student learning and best practices to  stakeholders is critical to the success of a school and its community.
